Getaway to Crete, Greece
With Andrea & Tai

Tuesday, April 27- Sunday, May 1, 2027

This is a retreat built around the full practice. Asana, breath and the philosophy that give it shape.

Mornings are for movement- long, unhurried practices with space to settle into a pose, explore its edges, and build heat and strength with intention. Evenings turn inward: pranayama, quiet practice, and space to sit with the philosophy behind what we do.

Between sessions, the days are yours to shape. Swim, read on a balcony, journal, nap, wander down to the water. This is a week designed to let your nervous system exhale.

Shared meals, easy conversation, and evenings that drift into connection. Our hope is that you'll leave with a deeper practice and connections that last.

Each day follows a simple rhythm: morning practice, lunch, an open afternoon, evening practice, dinner. What happens after dinner is yours- conversation, the pool, an early night if that's what your body wants.

Our final full day includes something a little different from the rest of the week. Details to come closer to the date.

The House

Our Villa Oasis is set into a hillside above the village of Gerani. It unfolds across three floors, with the Cretan Sea in view from nearly every room. A generous pool anchors the outdoor space, with a hanging daybed at its edge for the afternoons that call for doing absolutely nothing. A jacuzzi looks straight out over the water. A fire pit gathers everyone outside once the sun goes down.

Eleven bedrooms are spread across the property, most opening onto their own private balcony with sea views on one side, and garden views on the other. There's room to retreat into solitude when you need it, and easy, natural gathering spaces when you don't.

Every meal is prepared on-site by a private chef, who sources ingredients from the markets of Rethymnon each morning, creating Cretan and Mediterranean dishes built around whatever's freshest that day.

Travel

Villa Oasis sits on Crete's north coast, about four miles from Rethymnon and looking out over the Cretan Sea.

The villa isn't reachable by public transportation, but it's a straightforward drive (under an hour) from Chania Airport (CHQ). Group transportation between Chania Airport and the villa is included for all retreat participants.

Arrival
We recommend flying into Chania Airport (CHQ) on Tuesday, landing before 4:00 p.m. if possible. We're arranging two pre-set pickup windows from the airport that day . Once your flight is booked, send us your arrival time and we'll place you in whichever window fits.

Departure
The retreat concludes Sunday morning. We're arranging two pre-set departure windows back to Chania Airport that day so please plan your return flight before 4:00pm, and we'll confirm your window once we have your flight details.

Travel flexibility
You're welcome to book any airline or route that gets you into Chania, just keep the pickup and departure windows in mind so you can join one easily.

If you'd rather arrange your own transport outside the group shuttle, just ask. We're happy to pass along the contact for the transportation company we're already working with. From there, booking and payment would be directly between you and them.

Your Hosts

Andrea

Andrea is a yoga teacher and yoga therapist who believes that yoga goes beyond a physical practice, it’s a path toward greater self-awareness, balance, and connection. Her approach is grounded in creating a welcoming, supportive space where people can turn inward, listen to ever changing needs of their bodies, and connect with themselves (while also having a little fun).

Through movement, breathwork, mindfulness, and meditation, Andrea encourages students to explore practices that support both physical and emotional well-being. Her mission is to meet each person where they are, recognizing that yoga can look different for everyone and that the practice naturally evolves with us.

Andrea’s classes are rooted in compassion, curiosity, and the belief that we all have the capacity to cultivate greater resilience and ease within ourselves.

Tai Phoenix

Tai has practiced yoga for ten years and holds a 200-hour certification. She came to it looking for something new and found something that shaped how she moves through life.

In her classes, embodied sequences become a place where you’ll stretch and grow, and where the space inside a breath is enough to soften and let the body settle. Tai believes we're powerfully built, and that we deserve the time to explore that fully. Finding what we’re capable of and who we are through this practice. She's there to hold that space with you and alongside you, as moving meditation, still reflection and breath do the quiet work and the practice washes over you.

Tai hopes you’ll leave this retreat knowing yourself a little better because you had real time and space to explore, listen and reflect. More than anything, she wants you to feel at ease and step away from pressure and expectations.

Our Shared Intention

We built this retreat around the belief that yoga is bigger than what happens in an hour on a mat. Between us, that means movement paired with real stillness, breath paired with the philosophy behind it, and enough time for both to land. We want you to leave feeling rested, yet energized by new connections and a place that allows you to breathe and slow down.
